2007

In 2007, Danceworks co-produced Mischief, a new work by Theatre-Rites and choreographer Arthur Pita, as a member of the Dance Touring Partnership and in collaboration with Sadler's Wells. Over 5 weeks in Autumn 2007 school children across South Yorkshire took part in creative sessions which included attending performances of Mischief at the Lyceum Theatre. Click here to read more.
2008

In 2008 Danceworks opened its season in a public space, a non-traditional theatre environment, Devonshire Green, in the heart of Sheffield City Centre to launch Generate 2008 as well as to celebrate the launch of the Cultural Olympiad. Again, school children across South Yorkshire took part in very special creative workshops in schools over four weeks as well as attending a performance of Beau Geste's Transports Exceptionnels.
