Spring season 2009

Welcome to the DW website.

Fresh from a highly successful Autumn 2008 season, highlights of which included:

a sun-filled weekend on Devonshire Green, Sheffield with 3 spectacular outdoor performances of Transport Exceptionnels by French Company Beau Geste - a playful love duet for one man and his thirteen tonne digger accompanied by the music of Maria Callas

packed out shows at the Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield for rising star of the British dance scene, Hofesh Shechter with Uprising and In your rooms

and the return of Master choreographer Stephen Petronio (USA) to Sheffield with three mouth-watering works, one of which Bloom, featured the Sheffield Music School youth choir.

Protein Dance

Over 25 and want to perform on the Lyceum Theatre stage, Sheffield 11 Feb 2009 (or Lawrence Batley Theatre stage, Huddersfield 3 Mar 2009)?

Protein Dance is looking for mature non-professional performers of all shapes and sizes to join its regular cast for performances of their latest show, Dear Body on Tuesday 11 February 2009 at the Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield or Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield on Tuesday 3 March 2009.  For further information on how to get involved click here.
