Rambert Dance Company
returns to Sheffield with its 22 award-winning dancers, among the finest and most versatile in the world, and uplifting live music from Rambert Orchestra superbly enhancing the experience.

Artistic Director Mark Baldwin's brand-new work commemorates the 150th anniversary of Charles Darwin's momentous publication On the Origin of Species.  It skilfully blends dance and science using a specially-commissioned score by renowned British composer Julian Anderson and production design by Kader Attia, one of the leading lights of Paris' contemporary art scene.

The programme also includes a revival of Siobhan Davies' award-winning The Art of Touch and the musical beauty of Henri Oguike's Tread Softly.

Where contemporary dance is concerned, Rambert sets the standard for quality and diversity The Times
